Jack Haines inspects the new Prestige 420 to see how it compares to its predecessor, the Prestige 400
Prestige’s smallest model was due an upgrade, so when it was announced that the new 420 was to be launched at the 2014 PSP Southampton Boat Show, we made a beeline.
In this video, boat test editor Jack Haines inspects this spacious flybridge, which features a high quality of fit and finish throughout.
One of the most striking features is how equally sized the two cabins are – both boast 6ft headroom and an en-suite heads.
Jack talks through the engine options, which include IPS400 and IPS500 with the latter offering a top speed of 33 knots.
We also take a look at the flybridge, which feaures practical seating in the aft and a sundeck alongside the helm.
