A classy cosmopolitan cruiser, the Oyster LD43 is our Used Boat of the Month. In this video, Chris Jefferies takes a look at two models on the market
Some boats are head-turners and others are jaw-droppers – and with its New England styling and elegant curves, the Oyster LD43 definitely falls into the latter camp.
For this month’s Used Boat report, we’ve been taking a look at two models on the market to see how this mid-00s gentleman’s cruiser has stood the test of time.
We start at Wessex Marine in Poole, where a 2005 model with 440hp Yanmar engines and 350 engine hours is on the market for £220,000.
After taking a look at the cockpit, the saloon, and the helm station, we head along the coast to Berthon in Lymington, where a 2006 model with 480hp Yanmars and 220 engine hours is listed for £260,000.
Finally, we open up the engine bay to take a closer look at the practical aspects of owning a jet-drive model like this.
