When Sealine passed into administration in 2013, most of the hulls were bought up by the Germans at Hanse Group, but a few of them remained in England.
Essex-based Fibre Classics picked up a 30ft hull and a 36ft hull, and it was on this solid basis that the Jersey range was built.
Last year’s London Boat Show saw the launch of the Jersey 30 and earlier this month we saw the arrival of its bigger brother, the Jersey 36.
Powered by a twin or single sterndrive set-up and fully kitted-out with Vetus sterngear, this wheelhouse design offers a highly practical two-cabin layout with some nice interior touches.
But the most striking thing is the price – the twin-engined 160hp version of the Jersey 36 is on the market for just £139,000.
In this video, MBY editor Hugo Andreae climbs on board and talks us through his first impressions of this new arrival.
