Numarine 55 HT & Sport - A sign of the times: three different models based on one hull
What they say “Numarine’s sexy newcomer is an exhilarating head turner. The aggressive lines of design are matched to high performance and the result is simply magnificent.”
Numarine have made the Sport an all-out performance craft, with bigger engines and a little less space for overnight guests.
It has sleeker exterior lines and one less bathroom down below. The more cruising-oriented HT sacrifices some of the below decks saloon space for a third double cabin and ensuite heads.
Perhaps more exciting is the fact that the Sport can be fitted with Arneson surface drives for a top speed of 50 knots, compared to the HT’s 38 knots.

Verdict
If any evidence was needed as to how tight the motor yacht market has become, look no further than the fact that this Turkish manufacturer is bringing out three different models based on one (originally flybridge) hull, including these two sportscruisers. On the face of it there is little to separate the new 55 HT and Sport, but there are key differences.
