This 38-footer is a marked step up for the German yard
With four new models launched in the last 18 months, Bavaria’s assault on the sportscruiser market shows no signs of letting up. Priced well under £200,000, the 38 Sport looks like an awful lot of boat and will go up against several smaller models including Sealine’s best-selling SC35.
Price is as tested with twin 5.7lt 320hp petrols. With twin D4-260 diesels it comes in at £195,000.

Verdict
Big on size and value, the Bavaria Sport 38 is very easy to spend time on. The detail work may still be lacking but Bavaria now has a line-up that means business
