And given that its hull form and weight distribution is so similar to the Emerald 26, I can see no reason why it shouldn’t handle the much rougher conditions that left the 26 untroubled.
Even with the largest twin 230hp Volvo engines fitted, the Emerald 30 is still under £90,000 ex VAT, ex factory. The interior clearly needs sorting out, but once that’s done, I wonder how many other builders will be able to provide such an attractive, substantial, 33-knot, teak-decked sportsboat for this sort of money?
