Williams Sportjet 400 to launch at Cannes Yachting Festival

The Oxfordshire-based tender manufacturer has confirmed that the Williams Sportjet 400 will be appearing at both Cannes and Southampton

Williams Performance Tenders has announced details of the newest model in the range, the Williams Sportjet 400, which will be launched at the Cannes Yachting Festival (September 9-13).

Powered by a 125hp BRP Rotax 4-TEC engine, the 13’5” tender should be capable of a top speed of around 39 knots.

The new arrival, which will also be on display at the Southampton Boat Show from September 11-20, has been designed to appeal to watersports fans and those looking for a tender for a 20M motor yacht.

Key features include rear-facing bench seating that can fold down to create a large sunbathing area, and a choice of four hull colours (grey, black, blue or red).

Standard-fit items include windscreen, bathing ladder, ski pole and navigation lights, although owners can also specify a chart plotter, bimini, Fusion stereo system and LED lights for an extra cost.

Mathew Hornsby, sales director at Williams Performance Tenders, said: “We have been delighted with the response to the launch of the Sportjet range to date and look forward to introducing the Williams Sportjet 400 to the world.”

Prices are yet to be confirmed but the Williams Sportjet 400 should be cheaper than its bigger brother, the Sportjet 460, which costs just under £35,000.
