Plans have been unveiled for a new superyacht almost as wide as it is long. The as yet unnamed vessel will be 58m long with a beam of 38m, with a 36m beach deck incorporated as part of its broad stern.
Three decks will provide accommodation for 12 guests and 20 crew, while amenities will include a 25m swimming pool. The yacht, designed by Wally Hermes Yachts, has been nicknamed WHY 58×38, and is based on the Norwegian Ramform hull design.
Photovoltaic panels will provide enough power to cover the needs of all the yacht’s auxiliary systems, and diesel electric propulsion will give it a cruising speed of 12 knots.
