Watch this video as three motorboats are severely damaged and sink after the cargo ship Cyprus Cement crashes into a marina in Norway
Three motorboats ended up sinking and several others were severely damaged when a cargo ship crashed into a marina in Norway. Boats at the Levanger Marina were thrown around and rolled over by the stern of the 4555-tonne Cyprus Cement as it manoeuvred off a nearby berth on Saturday.
A tug, which was assisting the Bahamas-flagged cement carrier at the time, was unable to stop it from swinging. Luckily no-one was hurt in the incident, the cause of which is being blamed on a faulty thruster on the cargo ship.
The Norwegian Coastguard has launched an investigation into the incident.
