The cruise ship held in Madeira over a financial dispute has been released
The cruise ship, Van Gogh, which had been detained in Madeira over a financial dispute, has been released.
We reported yesterday how the passenger ship was held by Portuguese police over unpaid bills by its previous owner, Travelscope.
An agreement between the administrators of Travelscope and the current operator, Van Gogh Cruise Line Ltd has been reached and the ship is now on its way back to the UK, due to reach Falmouth on Sunday.
