The RYA have published an updated version of their excellent navigation exercises book.
The book is good preparation for RYA shorebased theory courses but also serves as a useful reminder pre-season or before any long voyages of what to do if the plotter fails, and then the other plotter fails too.
The second edition of the book is updated with colour photos, diagrams and drawings as well as including the two new RYA Training Charts.
It is written by Chris Slade, co-writer of the RYA exam papers.
