Your chance to meet Captain Jack Sparrow
The UK tour of the tall ship Bounty continues, with the ship due into Blyth and Newcastle over the next two weeks before arriving at the Southampton Boat Show for 14 September.
The ship has been given a rousing reception on its first two UK stop-offs, initially at Maryport, which is the home of one of its most famous passengers Fletcher Christian, and over the Bank Holiday at Liverpool and Torquay.
Bounty is also featured in the Pirates of the Caribbean films and youngsters were treated to an appearance by Johnny Depp’s character Captain Jack Sparrow during both visits.
