Two crew rescued after fishing boat sinks near County Down
The two-man crew of a fishing trawler had no choice but to jump into icy waters as their vessel went down 12 miles from County Down, Northern Ireland, on 23 September. A nearby trawler captured the incident on video camera and rescued the men as they were forced to let go of their boat, Snowdonia, as it quickly sank. The two fishermen were later airlifted to hospital and are both making a full recovery. The reason for the sinking is currently unknown.
