Motor Boat and Yachting brings you the big guns
Two of the hottest names in British powerboating will be attending the London Boat show in a series of talks organised by Motor Boat and Yachting.
Adventurer Neil McGrigor will be giving a presentation on his fateful trip by Zapcat to the source of the Nile, as well as his successful Round Britain world record attempt last summer.
The 41-year-old Hampshire father-of-two was attacked by Ugandan rebels during the Nile expedition. One member of the party was killed and three others are recovering from serious injuries.
McGrigor will be appearing on stage on Saturday 7 January from 12-12.30pm.
On Sunday 8th January 14.00 – 14.30 there will be a chance to meet the top driver from the glamorous P1 Powerboat world championship, British Miles Jennings.
The driver of Wettpunkt.com, the 2005 Powerboat P1 Evolution Class World Champion, will be joined on stage by Powerboat P1 commercial director Martin McDonald.
The P1 girls will be giving out information on the series and on the Cowes Powerboat Festival.
Both talks will take place in the main aisle next to the IPC Media stage.
