For the successful contestants the final challenge will be chance to train in and race a V24 powerboat with champion Neil Holmes in the 2005 national championships
Speed Woman organisers will be traveling the country recruiting at boat shows, various shopping malls and other sports events this year and they report that there are more than 250 applicants so far. The events will include the Southampton and London boat shows.
Motor Boats Monthly’s very own Editorial Assistant, Claire Frew has signed up after visiting the show yesterday and was able to experience first hand the white-knuckle ride of the 75mph V24.
