Police in north Wales are investigating a suspected arson attack at Conwy Marina
Police are investigating a fire that may have been started deliberately at a boat yard in Conwy Marina.
At 00.36 this morning fire crews from Conwy and Llandudno responded to a call at Conwy Marina. The two crews arrived at the scene to find two 30ft sailing boats ablaze on the hard.
At 1.52am the fire investigating officer called in the police as it was suspected the fire may have been “deliberately ignited.”
A spokesperson from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the fire investigation is currently underway, but the cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.
