Sunseeker are utilising the latest technology to sell used boats, allowing prospective customers to take a virtual tour of any one of the range of craft available on their books.
Sunseeker finds that the market for these “nearly new” craft is very good, many of which are taken as part exchange from customers wishing to upgrade and are just a year or two old. But given the fact that the boats are based in Poole, they had to come up with a convenient method for global customers to view the boats for themselves.
For this they have employed a series of 360 degree panoramic shots to develop an interactive CD-ROM of each boat on the market. Customers can freely explore the boat of their dreams on their own PC and even click the so-called “hotspots” to open cupboards and expand tables. The only thing you can’t do is pour yourself a gin and tonic!
