Racing legend agrees to front show's 'powerboat village'
The Whyte & Mackay Earls Court Boat Show (ECBS) today announced it has recruited powerboat legend Steve Curtis MBE to front the show’s ‘powerboat village’.
According to the show’s organisers, “Steve will help create a display of historic and record-breaking powerboats along with other classic and cutting-edge boats”.
The eight-time world powerboat champion said: “The Whyte & Mackay Earls Court Boat Show will be a milestone moment in maritime history and I am thrilled to be involved.
“A boat show of this magnitude has never been executed before and I look forward to the prospect of interacting and inspiring existing mariners and the next generation of boating enthusiasts who visit the powerboat village. One thing is for sure, this promises to be a tremendous show.”
