Southampton Boat Show opened under sunny skies today with lots of positive noises from the key builders
Princess got Southampton Boat Show off to an exciting start this morning by unveiling the S65 and V58 before announcing plans for six new models over the next six months, two of which are over 100ft. These are set to include a 75 Motor Yacht to be previewed at London and a 30m design at Dusseldorf. Plans are also underway to introduce their first pod drive flybridge, the Princess 49, in spring 2016.

Over at Sunseeker things are looking just as rosy and a good crowd gathered at their opening to watch F1 commentator, Suzi Perry, cut the ribbon. Lively musical entertainment was provided by boyband Collabro, who won Britain’s Got Talent in 2014. Three new boats, the 95, 116 and 131 were announced, plus the all new Manhattan 52 will be making an appearance in July 2016. This will apparently set the tone for a whole new range of Manhattans.
