Giant sandcastles and more; near Port Talbot
The South Wales Boat Show opens on Friday 15 June and the 2007 event looks even better than the hugely successful inaugural show last year.
The show is held at Margam Park, near Port Talbot (M4 Exit 38), until Sunday 17 and has a vast range of attractions and activities on offer for various different ages.
Organiser Ben Sutcliffe says: “This year’s event has exceeded all expectations, with over 160 exhibitors and 300 different craft on display, we are very proud that so many companies are launching new products here in Wales and are very pleased to see all our exhibitors back from last year along with many more.
“This year’s event brings lots of entertainment for you and your family, such as; paint balling, bouncy castles, go carting, hovercraft rides, 40 tons of sand creating a beach at the park, complete with pirate ship, plus many more attractions, not forgetting the very popular and free ‘come and try’ on the lake, which enabled The South Wales Boat Show to put over 500 children and families on the water last year.”
Booking for the ‘come and try’ on your arrival is advisable.
The show is open 10am to 6pm each day. Tickets are £6 for an adult, £2 for a child, or £15 for a family of two adults and up to four children. There are also weekend deals for two days.
