The latest addition to the Sunseeker range has been officially unveiled at the Schroders London Boat Show under the Portofino marque. Two new craft already sport the Portofino badge; the Portofino 46 and Superhawk 48. Any further addition to the range, one would assume, would naturally be larger than the last. So the sporty new Portofino 35 came as rather a surprise.
The Portofino marque is designed to meet a growing demand from new Sunseeker owners. The Portofino 35 provides an ideal entry model offshore cruiser, featuring high standards of performance and build-quality. Following the launch of the Portofino 46 at Southampton in September 2002, the 35-footer boasts a large cockpit with plenty of seating, a bathing platform, camper/suntop and tonneau cover. Power is provided by two 230hp Volvo diesels, which produce a claimed 35 knots, using outdrives for economical and sporty performance. The Portofino 35 offers a comfortable saloon, a well equipped galley and two cabins.
