Top powerboater on new radio show
Powerboater Shelley Jory will be ruling the waves once again as she takes the microphone at BBC Radio Solent’s new weekly programme the H2O show.
The show will also be available as a weekly podcast.
Listeners will be able to download highlights of the show to their computer or MP3 player to listen at their convenience.
Sailing legend Sir Robin Knox-Johnston will front the show.
The H2O show aims to offer listeners a broad range of nautical subjects, including weather forecasts, sporting events, What’s On information and what vessel is expected in port.
Shelley (pictured right, at a P1 reception earlier this year) joins the Powerboat P1 World Championship Series this year after a successful spell in the Honda Formula 4-Stroke series, where she was national champion three years ago.
