Take a sneaky peek at the latest offering from Corvette Marine on seatrial in Taiwan
The all-new Corvette 340, pictured here on seatrial in Taiwan, where it was built, is currently being shipped to the UK.
The 340 is priced at around £325,000 and is 34ft 10in long with a beam of 13ft and boasts a larger main berth and saloon than its predecessor the Corvette 320.
Corvette Marine says that on trial the 340 indicated a top speed of 24 knots with twin Cummins QSB 330hp diesel engines, alternatively you can opt for twin Volvo D6 330hp or Cummins QSB 330hp engines.
Corvette Marine’s Duncan Cowie said, “We still need to make some prop adjustments to optimise performance, but overall we are extremely pleased with hull number 1.”
Corvette Yachts Europe Ltd, which is based in Shamrock Quay, Southampton, is the UK distributor and dealer for new and used Corvette boats.
The company is headed up by Karl Farrant, formerly of Boat Showrooms. Karl will continue to operate Karl Farrant Marine Ltd with its range of existing services.
The 340 will be available to view at the company’s offices from next month. Look out for a test on the Corvette 340 in MBM soon.
