Sealine are exceptionally busy at the moment, with two new models launched in 2002 and another two making their debuts here at Earls Court. Experience of their radical surface-drive C39 cruiser has been put to good use with the Sealine S42, an S41/S43 lookalike with Volvo 75Ps and Buzzi/Trimax surface drives. The layout is the same as its outdrive and shaftdrive sisters but it has a clever new cockpit canopy design and it should be good for about 36 knots.
Then there’s a new S38, a two-cabin sportscruiser with a large midships saloon and galley area, and three single berths in the aft cabin. This replaces the S37 and will have the Volvo KAD300 outdrives that have proved effective on its predecessor.
