Poster for film uses boat from Aberdeenshire
Poster designers for The Life of Pi, a film about a boy marooned on a lifeboat with a tiger, have used a Scottish fishing boat wreck as its centrepiece.
The boat ran aground off Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, in 2005 and has been stuck on the rocks ever since.
Councillor Brian Topping told BBC Scotland it was a ‘golden opportunity’ for the area, as locals believe it could turn the shipwreck into a tourist attraction.
