Poole show is just one of a number of free-to-enter events you'll want in your diary
The dates have been confirmed for this year’s Sandbanks Boat Show, the boutique boating exhibition held every May at Salterns Marina in Poole.
The show, on from May 10-11, is just one of a number of free-to-enter boat shows on this spring that have been growing in popularity in recent years.
The weekend before Sandbanks, from May 3-5, is the Jersey Boat Show, held at St Helier Marina, which attracted 30,000 visitors last year.
The weekend after, from May 16-18, is the second running of the British Motor Yacht Show, the event organised by dealers of Sunseeker, Fairline and Princess showcasing all the latest boats from the leading British motor boat manufacturers.
The Sandbanks show has proved a hit since its first running in 2011, proving that there’s a considerable appetite amongst buyers and exhibitors for short, free-to-enter events.
Most impressive, however, is the wide range of boats the show attracts, and this year’s edition will be no different, with all the big yards exhibiting alongside companies like Chris-Craft, Cobalt, English Harbour Yachts, Karnic, Sessa and Windy.
Dates for the diary:
