Get ready for Earls Court event
Londoners can pick up a free preview to the Sail, Power & Watersports Show with the Evening Standard on Thursday 20 November.
The 16-page colour supplement will feature information about what to see and do at the event, which takes place at Earls Court from 26-30 November.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the economic climate, the organisers are pushing the ‘affordable boating’ message and there will be a host of yacht brokers in the event’s Yachtworld Brokers Village by the central pool offering deals on a range of motorboats.
Sunseeker London, Premier Yacht Sales and Berthon International are some of the firms taking part.
The show is being run in association with Boatbid.com, and an auction catalogue of boats going under the hammer during the show is now available to view by visiting the show website and then following the link to the auction.
Twenty boats will be auctioned each day, one of the highlights being Bloodhound, formerly owned by the Royal family and sailed by HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, as well as RIBs and motorboats of all sizes.
