Date moved forward due to needs of security
The St.Petersburg and Leningrad region Motorboat & Yachting-Tourism Federation, organiser of the Russian Formula 1 powerboat Grand Prix scheduled for June 4-6, has announced that due to the World Grain Forum being held at the same time as the Saint Petersburg Economic Forum, the availability of the race location in town is no longer available due to security reasons. The race will now take place during the second week of August, the exact date to be announced shortly.
The race in Lahti the following weekend on Friday and Saturday June 12-13 remains confirmed.
