The organisers of the Barcelona boat show have released details of the 70 new models due to be displayed next week
Boat show season moves to Barcelona next week (15-19 October), with the likes of Rodman, Sunseeker and Lagoon due to descend on the city’s Port Vell.
The show’s organisers Fira de Barcelona have confirmed that the new Rodman Muse 44 will be on display, as well as the Sunseeker 75 Yacht, Jaguar JC48 Power Catamaran, Absolute 52 Fly, Ferretti 690, and the Lagoon 630 MY motorcat.
A total of 250 exhibitors will be bringing 650 new and used vessels to display, a figure which Carlos Sanlorenzo, secretary general of the National Association of Nautical Companies, sees as a sign of Spain’s boat industry returning to rude health.
“The nautical season has been positive, with an average growth of almost 16% in the months of June, July and August, which reflects the stability of the sector to date,” he said.
Other attractions at the show include a wave machine, flyboard demonstrations, beginner’s stand-up paddleboarding sessions, and plenty more besides to keep watersports fans entertained.
Tickets for the 53rd Barcelona International Boat Show are on sale now for the advance online price of 10 euros (£7.80) per adult.
Update: Sunseeker Spain has confirmed that it will be exhibiting the following six models:
Portofino 40
San Remo 485
Manhattan 53
68 Sport Yacht
80 Sport Yacht
28 Metre Yacht
