YouTube footage of lifeboat heading out in horrible conditions to assist trawler
If you’ve ever demurred over slipping a few coins into the buckets of those fine red-jacketed RNLI volunteers at boat shows, then take a look at the below video.
It was bought to our attention by the RNLI press office, and shows a lifeboat heading out in a Force 11 gale to assist a trawler that was in trouble off Kilkeel in Northern Ireland in around 1995.
