Fire officers are investigating RIB fire in Wales
Fire officers have launched an investigation after a 9m RIB caught fire in Penarth Marina. The boat, which is reported to be one of two operated by Cardiff Sea Safaris, was severely damaged and more than 26 gallons (120 litres) of fuel escaped into the water.
The fire broke out shortly after 9pm on Saturday evening, 3 March. South Wales Fire & Rescue crews from Penarth, Cardiff Central, Malpas and Bar were called to the scene and succeeded in bringing the blaze under control.
