The Princess V40, an update of the popular V39 model, will be launched the Düsseldorf Boat Show in the New Year
The Princess V40 will make its worldwide debut at the Düsseldorf Boat Show next month.
Using the same hull, sterndrive setup and engines as the existing and very popular V39, Princess has tweaked the exterior and freshened up the inside to bring the 40ft sportscruiser more up to date with a new crop of rivals.
The most striking update on the outside is the long strip of glazing running along both topsides, which brings the V40 into line with larger models in the yard’s sportscruiser range.
Inside there is a new palette of pewter grey and off white with high quality Ralph Lauren fabrics adding splashes of colour here and there.
The deck layout remains much the same as the V39, though Princess has slightly tweaked the helm seat to give more support.
The cockpit is spacious and well designed with a fabric sunroof opening to reveal a 5 square metre aperture overhead.
As far as we’re aware there have been no updates to the engine range, though a top speed of 38 knots from a pair of Volvo Penta diesels will be more than enough for most. Prices for the new model are yet to be confirmed.
The V40 will be on Princess’s stand, 6B21, at the Düsseldorf Boat Show.
