Prestige's new 450 promises space and pace courtesy of IPS
The Prestige 450 will offer IPS propulsion, two large ensuite cabins and flybridge or sportscruiser body styles when it hits the water at the Paris Boat Show in December.

The 450 enters the market in the once heavily populated 45ft market, which has diminished of late with many yards focussing on larger or smaller models.
The beauty of the 450’s design is in the privacy that it affords those on board.
The boat has a VIP cabin in the bow, with scissor-action berths to convert it from a single to a double, and a master cabin amidships with its own separate access via a staircase in the saloon. Unique for a boat of this size, it’s a great way of giving owner’s more of a big boat feel.
The hull has been designed specifically for IPS and there’s a choice between the 500 or 600 units. The latter should get the 450 to a top speed of 33 knots whilst the smaller engines will manage 30 knots.
As we have become accustomed to with these boats the 450 is available in both a hardtop and a flybridge layout.
The flybridge follows the Prestige flybridge formula with a portion of sunpad in front of the helm station, a twin helm seat and L-shaped seating furthest aft.
