The Hamble marina is set to unveil the first stage of its £5.8m redevelopment in October
Premier Marinas is set to unveil the first stage of its Swanwick boatyard redevelopment in October, following the addition of a marine services building.
The redevelopment also includes a hoist bay, a self-service fuel pontoon, additional facilities for existing berth-holders and a dry stack area, which will include 80 storage spaces for boats up to 10m long.
Demand for accommodation in the new development has been such that Premier Marinas only has one vacant unit remaining, almost two months before completion.
Pete Bradshaw, chief executive at Premier Marinas, said: “Premier Marinas prides itself on providing first-class facilities and customer service at all its marinas.
“Swanwick’s new boatyard will provide an unrivalled boatyard on the River Hamble and one of the best in the UK.”
The second phase of Premier Marinas’ Swanwick redevelopment is due for completion in March 2015, including additional boat sales offices. The current boatyard has been operating since the 1970s and features more than 300 berths.
