Plans have been revealed for major repairs to the harbour wall in Southwold
The £4 million project will see 278m of vertical steel piling installed to protect the in front of the existing wall which is crumbling and is expected to fail completely within the next five years. Work to improve facilities for fishing boats, including better moorings and a refuelling area, will be undertaken if European funding can be secured.
