All-new model will sit between the 55 and 65 in the Fleming line-up
TweetFleming Yachts have unveiled plans for a new Fleming 58 that will launch in late 2012.
The all-new model sits between the Fleming 55 and Fleming 65, and will come with a number of internal arrangements, one featuring a full-beam owner’s suite sitting amidships.
The standard power plant will be twin Cummins QSC 500 diesels, but bigger MAN R6-800s will be offered as an option.
At the helm, which has enough space for two Stidd chairs, drivers will be aided by fly-by-wire controls and two big 15in colour, touch-screen plotters.
Tony Fleming said: “While this is an all-new, highly advanced, modern yacht, we have retained the same fundamental features that have made Fleming so successful over the past 25 years.
“Our dedicated pilothouse, low profile, seakindly semi-displacement hull and twin-engine power will continue to be signatures of the Fleming line.”
