Ferretti Group has announced the prices and engine options of the Pershing 5X ahead of its September launch at the Cannes Yachting Festival
This year’s Cannes Yachting Festival will see the launch of the Pershing 5X. This new Italian sportscruiser will be available with a choice of IPS or surface drives.
Due to be unveiled on September 6, the new arrival will measure 54ft 2in (16.51m) making it one of the smallest models in the Pershing stable.
However, the Pershing 5X will still retain the sporty qualities that the range is known for with a top speed of 45 knots predicted from the twin 1,000hp CAT 12.9 surface drives. Those picking the twin 725hp Volvo IPS950 option will have to make do with a top speed of 35 knots.
Both versions boast a maximum cruising range of more than 280nm from the 2,200-litre fuel tanks. Prices start at £770,000 for the IPS version and £856,000 with the surface drives.
Key features include two cabins below decks, including a full-beam owner’s cabin amidships and a VIP double in the bows, both of which get their own en-suite.
