Late closing on Thursday with dancing and pop stars
Thursday night at the Collins Stewart London Boat Show is party night!
Organisers National Boat Shows (NBS) have planned a late night extravaganza for the 17 January, with up and coming pop star Laura Critchley performing on the main stage and Sunseeker hosting a night of “Moulin Rouge-style burlesque fun”.
Entrance to the show is £5 after 4pm, and there is a buy one-get-one-free offer on Carling lagers.
The show closes late at 9pm on the Thursday to give city employees a chance to visit the event after work.
The burlesque entertainment will take place around the Sunseeker stand and Champagne Bar.
Visitors will be able to soak up the decadent Moulin Rouge atmosphere surrounded by some of the show’s most expensive offerings from 6.30pm.
Liverpudlian Laura Crithcley will take to the main stage in the north hall at 8pm for an hour-long performance.
“This rising star will capture the audience with a live set which offers an infectious collaboration of pop beats and country swing, encompassing down to earth lyrics, natural beauty and a personality that creates a truly fantastic live experience,” say NBS.
Andrew Williams, Managing Director of National Boat Shows, says: “Party night at the show on Thursday is a great way for visitors to wind down after a long day in the office.
“We’re all really looking forward to it, as it’s a chance for both the exhibitors and the visitors to let their hair down a bit, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.”
