Mallorca's big marine event as glam as ever
The 2008 Palma Boat Show has opened, with Mallorca putting its best foot forward as thousands flood onto the island for boat launches and high class entertainment aplenty.
The event runs until 4 May in central Palma’s Old Port.
The show has a relaxed atmosphere and with the pontoons relatively free, compared to some of the Med shows, there is time to view new boats at leisure.
The Johnson 105 superyacht is the biggest craft at the show, but all kinds of boaters are catered for. Some of the big UK manufacturers are represented, along with many from the Med.
The Balearic-based Menorquin yard always put on a strong showing.
