Get a taste of life at 80 knots
The Earls Court Boat Show on December 1-9 will see P1 powerboating among its 300-plus exhibitors.
The show includes a designated powerboating area in Earls Court Two, with Powerboat P1 occupying stand 2D10, adjacent to the champagne area provided by World Championship sponsor, Jarvis of St James.
“The main reason for exhibiting at Earls Court is to introduce and educate new audiences,” explains Robert Wicks, Sales & Marketing Director for Powerboat P1 Management. “It is one of a selected number of top level marine-based events that P1 will attend across Europe over the next twelve months as we look to reinforce our brand values whilst exciting and encouraging participation from teams, the marine industry, sponsors and the general public.”
Several of the high-speed craft from the Powerboat P1 World Championship will be on display and visitors to the Powerboat P1 stand throughout the show will also be able to compete for an all-expenses trip to a 2008 Powerboat P1 Grand Prix of the Sea complete with full VIP hospitality.
During the Press & Preview Day (Friday 30th November), current Powerboat P1 Evolution Class World Champion James Sheppard will be in attendance alongside P1’s Sales & Marketing Director Robert Wicks. An informal P1 ‘Question-and-Answer’ session with the P1 pilot will take place on the Main Stage at 4:15pm.
