The new Pilot House model from Orkney will be unveiled at Southampton as part of the company’s 40th anniversary celebrations
Orkney Boats has announced its full line-up of boats heading to the PSP Southampton Boat Show (12-21 September).
The British manufacturer will be bringing four models, including the all-new Orkney Pilot House 20 Day Angler.
Launched as part of the company’s 40th anniversary celebrations, the new 20-footer is an entry-level variant of the Pilot House 20 Valiant cruiser.
Completing the Orkney line-up in Berths M501-507 will be the Orkney 522 Series 2, the Pilot House 27, and the Longliner 2, which is currently MBM’s long-term test boat.
Ben Davies from Orkney told MBM: “Orkney has previously shown a 27 at the show, although only the pre production prototype model.
“At this year’s show we’ll be focusing more on the latest changes with the 27 and also other recent additions in the range, including the Day Angler.”
Based in Arundel, West Sussex, Orkney has built more than 3,000 Longliner models since the original Longliner 16 was launched, and 2014 sees the company move into its fifth decade.
