Work to build a new wave break for Town Quay Marina, Southampton, is underway
The separate sections are currently being made and assembled in the port’s Eastern docks.
At current some boats can experience a bouncy ride while berthed in the marina due to the Red Jet ferry operating from just metres away.
The project is set to be completed by the end of January 2012, protecting the marina and providing berthing for visiting boats.
