A new London Caravan and Outdoor Show will take place in the capital in October.
Organisers of a new boat show in London’s docklands in October deny it will take exhibitors and punters from the Southampton event just a month before.
The new London Caravan and Outdoor Show will be similar to the established event that takes place in February at Birmingham’s NEC.
In line with the Birmingham event, there will be an extensive boat exhibition area, and organisers will take advantage of the Royal Victoria Dock, which is alongside the ExCel exhibition centre, to show more craft on the water.
A large portion of the show will be given over to caravans and motorhomes, but also to a range of outdoor activities, including climbing, walking, camping, quad-biking and 4×4 off-roading.
Nina Gardiner of the show organisers said: “There will be a lot of outside activity and lots of boats on the water. It’s an outdoor show and the aim is not to compete with Southampton.”
See Motor Boats Monthly for more details nearer the time. The show takes place from 27-30 October.
