Imperial Wharf Marina will be between Chelsea and Fulham
Boaters on the River Thames will have a new marina to cruise to in the heart of London when construction of Imperial Wharf Marina is complete at the end of November.
The new site, located between Chelsea and Fulham, will have over 600m of private mooring space and a separate pontoon for dropping off and picking up passengers.
All berths will have a minimum draught of 2m (6ft 6in) at MLWS which means most vessels will be able enter at any state of tide.
As well as the marina, the site will have luxury apartments, shops, restaurants and a 10 acre waterside park, all of which will help it blend with its glamorous surroundings.
Director of Imperial Wharf Marina Chris Livett says: “Building this landmark facility has been a long and complicated process. We are all very much looking forward to seeing boat owners enjoying the freedom the marina will provide.”
