New offices open at Shamrock Quay marina
Both Fleming and Corvette are opening new offices at Shamrock Quay marina, Southampton through Fleming Yachts Europe and Karl Farrant Marine respectively.
The announcement comes after the restructuring process that has taken place within previous dealers, Boat Showrooms Ltd.
The Fleming Yachts Europe Office will be dedicated to the sales, marketing and service of all new and previously owned Flemings and will provide a range of services including new boat sales, brokerage, charter, servicing and commissioning.
David Miles has been appointed manager of the new site, he has been associated with Fleming since captaining a 55 in 1994 and acted as European sales manger when they were part of Boat Showrooms Ltd.
Karl Farrant Marine have been appointed as the new Corvette agent and will market the first batch of boats built by Flemming since they took over the Corvette brand last year.
Meanwhile, the reorganisation of the Boat Showrooms group means that there are now three companies operating separately beneath the Boat Showrooms umbrella. Boat Showrooms of Hamble will be run by Colin Watts and remain the UK agent for Grand Banks as well as offering a brokerage service. Boat Showrooms of London, now owned by Shepperton Marina have an active brokerage and used boat service and are agents for Dutch steel boat brand Stevens. Boat Showrooms of Harleyford, owned and run by Espar Ltd, also run an active brokerage and new boat service and still deal with Broom boat sales. Despite running under the Boat Showrooms name, the companies will all be run independently and share no financial link.
