Bénéteau are introducing a cuddy version of the innovative new Flyer 750 for 2005.
The boat was unveiled this year in open format, with the French manufacturers’ distinctive “air-stepped” hull that is said to improve performance and handling.
The new walkaround design boasts a two-berth cabin, which will make the boat more suitable to UK waters, but can still seat nine people in the cockpit through a convertible sunbathing platform and folding benchseat aft.
There are a number of outboard engine options up to 300hp, with a top speed of 40 knots. Length is 23ft (7m) and beam 8ft 3in (2.53m).
See the next issue of MBM for more on Bénéteau’s air-stepped hull system and on their other major launches for 2005.
