Work on the new National Waterfront Museum, overlooking Swansea Marina, is in its final stages.
Work on the new National Waterfront Museum, overlooking Swansea Marina, is now finished and the installation of exhibitions and public facilities is underway.
The £30.8m museum should open in the summer, with displays telling the story of Wales’ industrial and maritime heritage.
The site incorporates the original Grade II-listed warehouse that was formerly home to the Industrial and Maritime Museum. A glazed central walkway links this to a spectacular new building, clad in glass and slate.
The historic craft in the dock will remain on their moorings.
