Check out where we're headed in 2012 with the Cruising Club, now in its 26th year
Are you planning your 2012 boating season? The Motor Boats Monthly Cruising Club 2012 programme is here.
We start with the Liberation Cruise in May, where we will visit the Channel Islands and join in celebrations to mark the end of German occupation during the Second World War.
Our Summer Cruise takes us to Brittany in June, where we will call in at such famous ports as St Malo, Paimpol and Binic.
In between these two cruises, we have a very special Thames event. As part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, we have reserved a limited number of berths for Cruising Club members at St Katharine Docks.
In other news, we can reveal that the next boat to carry the Blue Fin name and work as the MBM control boat for 2012 will be a Prestige 350. This entry-level flybridge will be fitted with Volvo Penta’s new D3 220hp diesel sterndrives with joystick control, it should prove a very interesting craft.
