MBM reader captures some incredible photos of boats after July's flooding
Following the incredible flood pictures in this month’s MBM comes these shots of two boats in difficulty on the River Avon.
They were both taken by MBM reader Martyn Carter after July’s incessant rainfall brought all boat traffic on the Avon, Severn and Thames to a standstill.
The first shot is of a Shetland 25 perched precariously atop Strensham sluice, and the second shows a Princess 32 with only her bow poking above the waterline at Strensham Hill Moorings.
Bigger versions of the photos can be seen on MBM’s Flickr site.
