Bangor marks 20th in style
Bangor Marina in Northern Ireland has celebrated its 20th birthday, with the help of Miss Northern Ireland, Judith Wilson.
The marina and harbour was built in 1989 as part of an £18 million development scheme by North Down Borough Council and was the first in the country to gain The Yacht Harbour Association’s Five Gold Anchor award in 1996, the European Blue Flag Award in 1998 and the RYA Customer Award in 2003.
